Make a Difference THIS CHRISTMAS with HKMaS! :)

Join us in lighting up someone's Christmas!!

We are going to have a Christmas event going on this coming Saturday, 10th December 2011! It is going to start from 9:30 a.m and ends at 1:30pm. This event is going to be held in CITY SPACE!!

Guess what we are doing this year!? Something different yet meaningful this time!!

In a group of 7, we are going to play games and have FUN! hopefully in the SNOW! :) Then, of course, we will have a little fellowship time together with some light refreshment!! It's a great time to meet MORE people!!! :D

AND THEN,

Finally, we will come together to decorate the Christmas trees for the charity! :) Isn't it sweet??

Annual General Meeting (26th November 2011)

Attention all HKMas society members,


The Hong Kong and Malaysian Society will be holding its Annual General Meeting this coming Saturday. The details are as follows:


Date: 26th November 2011 (Saturday)
Time: 10.30-12.00 pm
Venue: Murray Library Lecture Hall

This meeting is opened to all members whereby all members are encouraged to attend and actively participate.

The agenda of the meeting is listed below:

1. Election on 3 International Officer. (If anyone is interested please do turn up on this AGM this Saturday. It is best if you are from 1st year, 2nd and from St.Peter)

2. Giving certificate to all the participants and players.

Nottingham Malaysian Games/ Trips

Hey everyone,


I am delighted to see so many of you joining Nottingham Games! I am sure everyone is going to enjoy it to the fullest and get a taste of the well-missed mouth watering malaysian cuisine!!


Well, please be reminded that we are going to meet up in front of murray library at 5:30am this saturday, 12th November 2011. The bus is going to leave murray library at 6:00am sharp, so please be punctual!! 


Please bring along,
1. Student ID and sports member card
2. Medication (if you need any)
3. Sufficient money
Map will be provided during the trip


Lastly, we are expecting to gather at 5:40pm and leave Nottingham at 6:00pm, probably arriving Sunderland around 9:00pm.

Sunderland rocked the day (29.10.2011)


The Overall Champion MSG Trophy (29.10.2011)



[Edinburgh, 29 Oct] Sunderland University's HKMAS Society had rocked the day, when she was announced to be the OVERALL CHAMPION of the Malaysian Scottish Games 2011 during the closing ceremony of the event. Recognition and applause were given for the great success and history has noted this down ... ... ...



The representative of HKMAS, Ming K Tiang. received the recognition from the President of MSG committee, Catherine Nga (29.10.2011)



Hooray! We are the OVERALL CHAMPION for MSG 2011!!!!!


This was really the great success that all of the participants has played hard to achieve.
A big Clap to them!!! This will be recorded in the History!

HEY PEEPS!

Welcome again peeps! So sorry for not updating this bloggy!

It's been some technical problems (ops!)

We will soon upload more pics on our fresher fare, and of course, Our First Event and the upcoming games, The Malaysian Scottish Games & Nottingham Malaysian Games! :)

It's really great to see so many of you people joining us with the fun this year!!!

So, who's coming with us this weekend to Edinburgh?!! Hands up! =)
Ah, I heard that first year pharmacy juniors are having their exam on monday so most of them are not able to join us. I am sorry about it really! All the best ya! =)

Be reminded!! For this Saturday, 29th October 2011;
if you are joining MSG, make sure you arrive Murray Library at 5:35a.m (bus leaving at 6a.m.)
Be sure to be PUNCTUAL! :)

CHINESE NEW YEAR PARTY 2011

That’s right, it’s that time of the year again, Chinese New Year! While your family and friends back home are having a wonderful time (we know you’re missing them because we miss them too!), HKMaS promises you a memorable CNY in this year of rabbit! The CNY dinner will be held on the 10th day (12th February), complete with authentic Chinese food (Halal food is available on request). And also, games to keep you entertained! Plus you stand a chance to win a lucky draw amounting to 500 pounds, so it’s definitely worth coming for!!!
