Fun in the SUN!‏

To all HKMas members,



Spring is finally here!

Instead of staying home all day long, come and join HKMaS for a fun filled day!

HKMaS is inviting you to a day of outdoor games and social activities, (at Ashbourne).



It will be a good opportunity to de-stress and unwind yourself from all the coursework and revision to recharge for the exam finals. The details of the event are as follows:



Date: 18-4-09 (Saturday)

Time: To Be Confirmed (11am – 4pm)

Venue: To Be Confirmed (Ashbourne)

Fees: Members = Free, Non-members = £3

Northumbria Malaysian Ball

To all HKMas members,

Northumbria University will be holding the event 'Northumbria Malaysian Ball' on 29th March 2009.
The details from the organisers of the event are as follows:


> Date : Sunday, 29th March 2009
> Time : 7pm till end
> Venue : The Venue, Northumbria UNI Student Union
> Price :£ 15 (there are a LIMITED number of tickets, the latest date to purchase tickets is on Friday at 5pm)

> The THEME
> The theme for this year will be "MALAYSIAN MALAYSIA" (I am pretty sure that all of you know better than me! Love our country so much!)
>
> The ATTIRE
> According to the theme, all audience are required to follow the dresscode; formal / traditional
>
> The APPETITE
> The food for the night will include 5-6 courses of multi malaysian cuisine.(High table format, not buffet so please develop your table etiquette and manners!=p) The exact menu will be kept secret?? heee. But do make sure your lovely tummy is well prepared. We guarantee you will not missing our homeland food anymore!!

> The ENTERTAINMENT
> A list of artistic performance will cheer you up. Singing, dancing, acting, and maybe wayang kulit/makyong/kuda kepang?? We promise to entertain you while you are enjoying the great food! Great sound, cheerish slideshows, amazing videos; keep saying it!

> The LUCKY ONE
> Thinking that you are always lucky? We have a number of prizes to be won for the night on our prize draw.

> The KING & QUEEN
> Act like a prince, dress up like a princess and who knows that you will be the one who become the KING & the QUEEN for the most memorable night in UK?

Newcastle University 10th Malaysian Night 2009

Attention all HKMas members,

Newcastle University Malaysian Society is organising a Malaysian Night. The amended details are as follow:

> Ticket: EVERYONE is welcomed to attend. HKMas will be selling "Advance Tickets" at £9 per person. £10 will be charged for ticket purchase after 7th March (5pm).
